Dear Readers of the Necktie,
How are you? I am fine. It's been quite some time since I've contributed. Here're some updates:
I am two semesters shy of earning my English degree. What, you may ask, will Paul do with his degree? The answer is that I will do everything exactly the same, except I won't be attending university classes.
The kids are now 15, 10, 4 and 2 years old. They are alive. I'm doing my job.
Between February and June of this year, my ex-wife attempted to sue me for sole legal custody and 100% placement of my oldest sons. She was unsuccessful. Long story. It may appear here. Yay me!
My step-father is knockin' on heaven's door with renal failure. Still not sure how to feel.
On a purely fun note, my Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl. Of course, you probably knew that, but it's fun to point it out.
This post, my first real post in over a year, is just to get you caught up. Now that we've done that, subsequent posts will return to our regularly scheduled content.
Nice to see you again.
Paul

Same here. Yay on the custody win. I think the proper feeling is a foreboding sense of loss. Not trying to get all coal-miner deep, but if your Mom is going to miss him, then you should too.
ReplyDeleteI am also fine. Liv'n the dream.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the impending graduation and sooper big arms in your custody win! As far as the Packers, I'm happy I was living in Wisconsin for the season and the big dance win, nothings sweeter.
I'm very sorry to hear about Jim.
cheers
